Honest, experienced therapy for life's difficult moment

I've been doing this for over 18 years, working with adults facing a wide range of challenges. I bring to every session the kind of honesty, warmth, and practical focus that I'd want if I were sitting on the other side of the room. I also believe therapy doesn't have to feel overly formal. Humor, curiosity, and gently challenging the patterns that keep you stuck are all part of how I work, because meaningful change happens when you feel both supported and understood.

WHO I WORK WITH

If you've been managing on your own for too long, I'd love to help.

While I work with a wide range of concerns, these are a few of the areas I particularly enjoy helping people with. If you don't see your specific concern listed here, it doesn't necessarily mean we wouldn't be a good fit. Therapy is always tailored to the person sitting in front of me, not just the reason they first reached out.

ADHD

ADHD is one of my favorite areas to work with because it's also one of the most misunderstood. If you've spent your life being told you're disorganized, inconsistent, or not living up to your potential, I'd gently push back on that. You have a brain that works differently, and the strategies most people rely on simply weren't built for you. Together, we'll find practical approaches that work with your brain, not against it.

Anxiety

Anxiety has a way of convincing you that you always need to be one step ahead. The overthinking at 2 a.m., the "what-ifs" that seem louder than everything else, or avoiding something because it feels easier than facing it. If any of that sounds familiar, you're not alone. Together, we'll work on understanding those patterns and finding practical ways to quiet them.

Burnout

Burnout has a way of creeping in slowly. Sometimes it's work. Sometimes it's caregiving. Sometimes it's trying to keep everything together for everyone else while quietly running on empty yourself. More people experience burnout than they realize, and it isn't a sign that you're doing something wrong. Together, we'll make sense of what's led you here and work toward recovery in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.

Life Transitions
Change can be exciting, overwhelming, or both at the same time. Whether you're navigating a career change, a shift in your relationships, becoming a parent, or entering a new stage of life, it's normal to feel uncertain along the way. Together, we'll explore what's changing, what it means for you, and how to move forward in a way that feels manageable and authentic.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I've been in behavioral health for over 18 years. I still love the work.

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in Watertown, Massachusetts. Over the years, I've added many different strategies and perspectives to my "toolbox" as a therapist. While I am always measured, careful, and clinically precise, I've learned that what helps one person might not help another. Some people want practical strategies, solutions, and tools. Others need space to process, unpack situations, or examine patterns in their lives. Most people want a little of both, and my job is to adapt to what you need rather than expecting you to fit into one particular style of therapy.
